Kerry was born and raised in Sarnia-Lambton to a family deeply rooted in local Real Estate. Kerry’s mom, Michelle Timmers, was a local Realtor for 17 years and a past president of the Sarnia-Lambton Real Estate Board. She taught Kerry to “Always do more than what is expected, and you will never fail’. This unique experience has provided Kerry a solid foundation to grow very organically into her career at EXIT Realty Twin Bridges.
After graduation, Kerry began education towards real estate licensing. During this period, she began working at a local Parkbridge land lease community, Bluewater Country; quickly expanding their reach on the local market by focusing on core marketing strategies while engaging buyers and sellers with a down-to-earth, no pressure approach. She was an integral part of that team growing from a Salesperson rapidly into a home construction role. Simultaneously, in 2012, Kerry had become fully license with a local Brokerage, MP Joan Walker Real Estate. By 2013, she had completely immersed herself into Sarnia-Lambton real estate and home construction. She was the builder representative for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities with the Sarnia Lambton Home Builders Association as well as managed three of Parkbridge’s Southwest Ontario prominent properties as Southwest Ontario region Construction and Warranty Coordinator. Kerry was assigned to Parkbridge’s first “Green Field” project to plan the development of a nearly 500 home community. The “Green Field” development was a first for Parkbridge and the role provided Kerry with a unique experience, understanding and the tools necessary to build projects from the ground up.
Since 2010, Kerry has been fundamentally involved in 244 home builds across Southwest Ontario and traded more than $55 million in local real estate. With her experience, Kerry has connected with many partners within the community to create and lead a team that is focused working for her clients.
Passionate about water, buying a home in Sarnia was a natural move for Kerry’s family. She a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton. She is enthusiastic about all things local! In her free time, Kerry loves to create culinary masterpieces in her home kitchen. She enjoys the great outdoors with her Spouse, Charles and step-son, Elliot; gardening, biking, hiking or playing with their dog, Sophie. Grateful for an amazing community, Kerry makes sure all are welcomed in a way that has become customary to her client culture.
